8th Grade Boys

Thursday 3:30 Update Game Canceled. Sorry. Brian

Thurs - Game versus Back Bay at Sea Road School Field in Kennebunk, 6:30. Please be there at 6:00 ready to warm up. The 7th graders will be playing at 5:30. Coach Todd Cesca who many have played for hopes to come by and watch the game.

Sat - Tournament at Wainwright Field in South Portland. I do not have exact times yet. We are supossed to play three games. Here are the directions to the Wainwright fields:

Highland Avenue
South Portland, Maine

From the South or North on Maine Turnpike:
Come into Maine on the Maine Turnpike
Take exit 45 (formerly exit 7)
Go through the toll and to the end of the road - you'll be intersecting Rt. 1
Governor's Restaurant will be in front of you
Turn left - you'll come to an intersection where Dairy Queen will be on your left
You should be in the right hand lane
Bear right at this light - keeping Willows Restaurant on your immediate right
Proceed to 2nd traffic light - Amato's will be in front of you (about 8/10 of a mile from DQ)
Turn Right onto Evans
Go to the end of Evans St. and turn right onto Highland Avenue
Go about 1.5 miles on Highland Ave – you will see a green sign “Recreation Complex ahead”
Turn right onto GARY MAIETTA Drive. There is also a large sign that says Pine Wood Condo

We will not be making up the game that was canceled against South Portland. We will do something to wrap up the end of the season for our team. Last year at 7th graders we did a scimmage and pizza with the 8th graders. Keep the Kbk Lax Awards Banquet June 14th , 6:30 at MSK's Cafetorium on your schedule. If you can not make any of this weeks events please let me know. I have also updated the website page with this weeks schedule. Enjoy your long weekend.

Good afternoon Everyone
Our game was just cancelled and we will not be practicing. Our AD is in the process of rescheduling with South Portland. Most likely a rescheduled game would have to be played after Memorial Day due to lack of referees available as well as some middle school # of game rules, none of which I know anything about. So I will let you all know as soon as I know when we may be able to play.
We will have a GREAT practice tomorrow! 4 - 6 pm at Sea Road
We will not be practicing as a team Friday--please play some wall ball and pass with a teammate and yes RUN--we can talk tomorrow. So you will have a much deserved long weekend and then we will be back to play a game Monday away at Gorham.

                                Atlantic Sports Jon Lundberg will be offering a goalie clinic and will also be bringing down lacrosse gloves to purchase if you are interested
                                The gloves cost $ 36.75 (tax included)

Players should be at the field by 3 pm

Please bring warm clothes as tomorrow will only be in the mid 40's and will feel colder.

Wind clothing is helpful.

Great game! A fantastic start to the season with a final score of Kennebunk 12- Massabesic 10. The team really passed well and defnsive was on fire! Great effort ladies. Be proud!
